The Virtualitics Explore Windows version currently has full support for several Oculus and HTC platforms, with alpha support for Windows MR devices. Controllers are necessary to interact with the plot and the environment.

PC-Powered

Our recommended VR headset is the Oculus Rift S, or the Oculus Quest 2 with an Oculus Link cable. This latest device provides a significant improvement in user experience compared to the previous generation Oculus Rift, which is also still supported. Please see this page for full instructions to connect your Quest or Quest 2 to your PC.

The Oculus Quest 2 marks a large step for wireless VR headsets, with a much improved experience compared to previous standalone VR devices.

Windows MR (Alpha)

We are currently providing alpha support for Windows MR devices. This means that we have tested and ensured basic functionality of Virtualitics on some of these devices, although there may be issues with user experience at this time. We will be rolling out full support for these devices in future releases.
