What Is It?
Image and Video Capture enables users to capture images, GIFs, and videos within the Explore application so that static or dynamic visualizations and procedures can be shared outside of the application.
Why Is This Important?
The in-app Capture functionality extends the benefits of Explore to stakeholders within an organization that do not naturally engage with the Explore application or simply do not have access. The Capture tool provides pathways for Analyst and Citizen Data Scientists to export visualizations, annotations, and various insights and include them in standard presentation tools like PowerPoint or Google Slides. If users are interested in including content from Explore in formal reports or publications, the Capture tool is an easy and flexible way to grab the relevant content and add it to those formal documents.
How?
Types of Capture
- Image Capture - Click on the Capture button to capture the image inside the red border area and save it.
- GIF Capture - Click on the Record button to start capturing the GIF inside of the red border area and save it when ready by clicking the Stop button.
- Video Capture - Click on the Record button to start capturing the video inside of the red border area and save it when ready by clicking the Stop button.
