What Is It?
Grid Options allow the user to adjust the view of your plot by customizing the plot gridlines and tick marks.
Why Is This Important?
When working with visualizations it is important that you have the ability to manipulate the view that suits the data story you are telling best. By clearing out unnecessary pieces of a visualization, or allowing your data to fit the plot grid better, you can guide the attention of consumers to the right areas of the plot and improve interpretability. Explore provides you with a suite of customization tools that allow you to go beyond what traditional 2D and dashboarding tools allow. This flexibility allows you to tailor efforts according to your audience while not losing fidelity or time in your work.
How?
Access Grid Options by right-clicking anywhere on the plot (excluding any data points). You can hide tick marks, the grid cube, or both.
