Violin Plots are useful for visualizing categorical features and numerical features simultaneously. When multiple points occupy the same space, a Violin Plot spreads them out, so you can select individual points and get a better sense for the distribution of the points.
Required Features and Dimensions
Violin Plots require at least one categorical feature and at least one numerical feature mapped to at least two of the positional dimensions.
Violin Plots cannot be used with only categorical features on the spatial dimensions. For visualizing only categorical features, use the Histogram plot type.
