You can interact with objects, plots and panels in the VR environment using your VR controllers.

Oculus Touch Controls

Compatible devices:

• Oculus Quest 2
• Oculus Quest
• Oculus Rift S
• Oculus Rift

The touch controller that most recently had a button pressed is considered the active hand. The active hand will have a laser pointing out of it in the VR environment.

The controls are:

• A / X: Select, analogous to left click on desktop
• B / Y: Contextual menu, analogous to right click on desktop
• Grip button: Grab and move the plot or panel that is under the laser pointer
• Grip buttons on both hands: Resize and manipulate the plot
• Control stick: Zoom in/out on plot (if already holding the plot), rotate the plot (if not holding the plot), scroll a panel (if laser pointer is pointing at a scrollable panel), reset plot position/rotation (when pressed)
• Left menu button: Reset user position
• Right menu button: Oculus Home

HTC VIVE Controls

Compatible devices:

• HTC VIVE
• HTC VIVE Pro

The controls are:

• Trigger: Select, analogous to left click on desktop
• Menu button: Contextual menu, analogous to right click on desktop
• Grip: Grab and move the plot or panel that is under the laser pointer
• Control pad: Rotate the plot
• Grip + Control pad: Zoom in/out on plot (if already holding the plot), rotate the plot (if not holding the plot), scroll a panel (if laser pointer is pointing at a scrollable panel)
• Grip on both hands: Resize and manipulate the plot
• Trigger + Grip on both hands: Reset the user position
• System button: Vive Home

Valve Index Controls

The controls are:

• Trigger: Select, analogous to left click on desktop
