The Region Selection tool enables you to zoom into a specified area on a 3D Globe or 2D Map plot.
Using Region Selection allows you to observe interesting areas in your data and then quickly change your view to get a closer look at those specific areas.
Using Region Selection
- Ensure you are using the 2D Map or 3D Globe plot type.
- In the Mapping Panel, open the Menu ( ) and click Plot Settings.
- Click the Select button.
- Click and drag on the map to highlight the area on which you like to zoom in.
- Click Apply.
The plot will then zoom into the selected region, bringing you from a 3D Globe to a 2D Map or a more zoomed in 2D Map from a previous 2D Map.
