The Contextual Menu puts easy-to-use visualization customization techniques into a single click. It enables you to easily adjust your view of the data using different customization techniques that impact how the plot looks and how the data is presented.
Plot Contextual Menu
Right-click in the plot area to bring up the Contextual Menu, which allows you to quickly access the following options:
Plot Settings | Open the Plot Settings panel for the current plot type |
Create Subset | Create a new subset from visible points |
Create Visible Points Filter | Create a new feature that can be used to filter currently visible points |
Hide/Show Title | Choose to show or hide the plot title |
Hide/Show Title | Choose to show or hide Annotations |
Add Annotation | Create a new Annotation |
Axes Normalization | Apply normalization to all three axes |
Grid Options | Choose to show or hide the grid cube and tickmarks |
Shape Options | View points as different styles |
View Options |
Choose to view the plot from different preset angles |
Windows Layout | Option to show/hide windows |
Project | Save or close the current project |
Manage Dataset | Interactions that relate to current dataset (load, close, save, etc.) |
Loaded Datasets | Quick access to switch to another loaded dataset |
Manage 3D Objects | Load a 3D Object into the current project |
Point Contextual Menu
Right-click on any point to bring up the point-related Contextual Menu, where you have the options to open the Point Info Panel, add a Point Annotation, show only points with the same Color, show only points with the same Shape, show tooltips or delete the point.
