Ready to get started? The first step is to register your Virtualitics account.
Registering Your Account
First time users will receive an account registration email from licensing@virtualitics.com.
Click the Register Now link in the activation email to create your account.
Important: Contact your Virtualitics Account Administrator if you did not receive a registration email.
Once you've registered your Virtualitics account, proceed to the next step to access the Virtualitics Account Portal.
Accessing Your Account
You can access your Virtualitics account and any related applications from the Virtualitics Account Portal.
The Virtualitics Account Portal enables you to manage your account information, password, two-factor authentication, and more.
Tip: If you have forgotten your password, click the forgot password link on the login page of the Virtualitics Account Portal to reset your password.
Downloading and Launching Virtualitics Explore Desktop
Because Virtualitics Explore Desktop runs locally, you'll need to download it to your system.
To download and launch Virtualitics Explore Desktop:
- Navigate to the Virtualitics Account Portal.
- In the left-side navigation menu, click Installations.
- Click the Download button for your operating system to download the latest version.
- Run the installer, accepting all prompts.

Open the application and sign in using your Virtualitics account information.
Tip: You can enable the auto-login feature by selecting the Remember Me checkbox.

Note: While Explore Desktop is compatible with the operating systems listed below, Virtualitics recommends Explore Desktop be run on Windows. For more questions on compatibility, contact support@virtualitics.com.

Important: If you are installing Virtualitics Explore Desktop on Linux, you will need to perform additional steps to grant executable permissions for the necessary files and to ensure that the proper graphics drivers are being used. See the related article below.
