The Search Tool allows you to find specific words or phrases in your features. It is useful for quickly identifying specific data points across large datasets.

After obtaining these search results, the newly created Search result feature can be used for further analysis or filtering.

Using Search

Make sure that you have created the plot you would like to use to view your Search results.

1. Click on the Search icon ( ) in the left-side toolbar to open the Search Panel.
2. Enter the text you would like Search to find and return.
3. Select Exact Match or Contains Phrase.
4. Under Add Features, choose the features whose values will be searched for your word, phrase, or number, or click Input All.
   Tip: You can remove unwanted features by clicking the 'x' to the right of the feature name.
5. Click Run.

This will create a new Search Result that can be used as a data feature in the Mapping Panel or any of the AI Routines.

Note: Clicking Apply to at the bottom of the Search Panel will automatically map your Search Result to the Pulsation dimension.
