Q: How can I set up the API to run using remote machines?

A: To set up a remote connection between VIP and pyVIP, simply configure the host and port parameters of the api.VIP() constructor. Especially for remote connections, we strongly advise that you use an encryption key for your Virtualitics API connection. See the Installation and Setup page for more information.

Q: Do I have to run pyVIP from a machine running Windows?
